Central Cass Public Schools Casselton, ND

Central Cass Athletic Complex

Part of the overall addition and renovation to Central Cass School, the athletic complex created outdoor space for sports practice, games and events. The athletic complex includes spaces for football, baseball, softball and track, creating ample outdoor space for student and community use. The ZBA team designed the football turf and surrounding track field around the existing grandstand to seamlessly blend the two spaces together and to ensure budget dollars were maximized.

The new softball grandstand was designed to mimic that of the already existing baseball stands. Seating is covered, protecting spectators from the sun and slowing down deterioration of the seating. The artificial turf on the softball field will be replicated on the baseball field in the next phase of the project which is currently under design.
