The existing Cobber Baseball Field Stadium was in need of a facelift and increase in seating for spectators. This project focused on creating a covered grandstand to increase fan comfort and bring the capacity up to 395 in the stands. By covering the grandstands not only will watchers be kept cool in the summer, it will also help lower maintenance costs by protecting the seats from hot overhead sun and winter snow.
The two team dugouts were expanded to accommodate larger teams and give the players more room. The project included new fencing and backstop between dugouts. A new inning-by-inning scoreboard was installed and turf repairs were made where needed.
