Crookston Multi-Use Facility

For over 30 years, the Crookston School District has used the nearby University of Minnesota-Crookston field complex for football and track and field competitions, never having their own outdoor athletic field complex on school property. The elimination of football and track and field programs in 2019 by the U of M-Crookston resulted in those fields falling into disrepair with no possibility of improvements.

In 2023, the town passed a referendum to support the construction of a new multi-use facility on school grounds, just north of the High School. This facility provides a home venue for Crookston athletics as well as outdoor field space for physical education and other activities. Scope of the facility features an artificial turf field, field lighting, eight lane track, press box, seating for 750+ spectators and a concessions stand with bathrooms.
