Anna joined Zerr Berg Architects in 2023 after graduating from Iowa State University with a degree in Interior Design. She brings a wealth of creative expression and innovation to each of her projects and enjoys crafting spaces that look aesthetically pleasing while meeting the needs of her clients. Outside of work Anna enjoys exploring the Fargo/Moorhead area, baking, playing piano and staying active.
What interested you in pursuing Interior Design as a career?
I’ve always been a strong problem solver with an eye for aesthetics. Interior Design felt like the perfect combination of those two skills in addition to having a lot of creative freedom and opportunity to learn and grow.
How do you approach a new project/design concept?
I like creating inspiration boards to help get my mind focused on the project and the creative juices flowing. Pinterest is a great place to source inspiration and find interesting color combinations and textures.
What is a type of project that you’ve always wanted to work on?
Restaurants and breweries have always seemed like they would be fun to work on! Collaborating with the owner’s to create unique atmospheres for patrons would be exciting and interesting.
