Seeking a company that aligned with her personal values, Morgan joined the ZBA team full time in 2024 after working as an intern for two years and graduating from NDSU with a B.S. in Interior Design from NDSU. A member of North Dakota Interior Designers (NDID), Morgan focuses on providing clients with creative solutions that meet their needs in ways that are not just beautiful and inspirational, but also exceedingly functional. Flexibility and an open mind are her top two guiding principles when starting a new project and she focuses on making it easy for clients to adjust as different project needs develop throughout the life cycle of a project. Being involved with the design of the local schools, churches and government buildings and the positive effects on the users and community are part of what gives Morgan great satisfaction in her role.
Best design tip?
Make sure to always look at your paint colors next to a neutral background color, otherwise a phenomenon called simultaneous contrast will affect how you perceive the color!
What is your favorite local non-profit?
It’s a tie with Excite Music and Gigi’s Playhouse!
What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?
I am an artist outside of work where I do custom artwork and sell original pieces and prints. I additionally love to read, exercise, and sew every once in a while.
