Tate has been with Gehrtz Construction Services since 2025 and holds a degree in construction management from North Dakota State University. As a construction manager, Tate keeps projects on track from day-to-day details to overall milestones. He serves as the main point of contact for contractors, facilitating communication and coordinating schedules to maintain efficiency. Outside of work, Tate is an active member of the North Dakota National Guard. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports, being outdoors, and traveling to new places with his wife.
What interested you in pursuing construction management as a career?
I grew up around construction, and it made me realize how much I enjoy seeing a project through from start to finish and tackling the problem-solving that comes with it. There’s a real sense of accomplishment in knowing I was part of creating something lasting.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
No two days are the same, and each day comes with unique challenges. I also enjoy learning from those I work with, as everyone has different experiences and perspectives.
