The catalyst of revitalizing Downtown Moorhead started with the development of Block E on the corner of 8th and Main. Invested in seeing the successful re-invigoration of this busy corner, the City of Moorhead helped with this initiative.
This mixed-use facility includes a mix of housing, corporate officing, and space for food/beverage vendors as well. 12 residential units, eight of them being two-story and the rest 1,2, and 3-bedroom units are included on the top two floors. Amenities include underground parking, a workout room, and large patios that line the front of the units.
The first floor has 10,000 sf of commercial space that has housed tenants such as a bank, coffee shop and restaurant. The second floor was fit-up for the corporate office of Eventide Senior Living Communities occupying over 10,000 sf of space.
The design of the building was focused on creating a public space for the community, space for a variety of businesses, and a walkable area and plaza space out front for everyone to enjoy.
