The Fargo North High Track Complex was built on the school’s previous practice fields at 17th Avenue North and North Broadway Drive. The 5.95-acre track complex includes an athletic field with an 8 lane, 400 meter running track around its perimeter. The synthetic turf athletic field is primarily used for Fargo North High soccer games and as a practice field for Fargo North football and surrounding schools throughout the year in addition to their primary turf field. Other athletic amenities located within the track complex include two pole vault pits, four sand jump pits, and a high jump area. The existing storage building, throwing pit, and tennis courts to the south of the track complex were coordinated into the new layout and also include two new discuss throwing cages in the field area of the south-east corner of the site.
A 1,587 sf concession building was included and provides a concessions area as well as rest rooms for athletes and spectators. Permanent grandstands were installed on the north side of the complex with a 197 sf press box.
